Most sturdy buildings have foundations that are directly proportional to the strength needed to withstand tough conditions. Architects build anticipating storms. They build anticipating winds. They build with this in mind: The building will be tested. Things are no different with the Great Architect, God. He built you and knew every test that would come your way.
The depth of your foundation indicates that God can trust you with certain trials/tests.
Don’t think that it’s strange that God has strengthened your foundation over the past several weeks. There were some forthcoming conditions that you needed to be rooted and grounded for. So even if the storms have come, your foundation hasn’t been shaken. Without foundation, you won’t withstand the storm. Because if the foundations are shaken….what can the righteous do? Continue to ground yourself in the Word of God and in prayer. You will be strengthened and live fearlessly in the face of trials.
“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)
